Dr. Lamya Alkooheji

A former Assistant Professor at the Department of English Language and Literature, University of Bahrain.  A freelance writer, author, and trainer. Has experience in tertiary teaching and holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh. Winner of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Award for Scientific Research in its Second Edition. Has several academic publications (articles, book chapters, and a book) and has been mentoring master’s degree students in research writing. The author of two novels, the co-author of a biography, and an editor of a  collection of short stories.
